Leaving or navigating an abusive relationship can feel complicated and overwhelming.

Its important to know that there are protections, resources, and support systems available. We can help.

FREE INDIVIDUAL SUPPORT

Part of our work is helping people build healthy relationships.

Support looks different for everyone.

Abuse can be hard to recognize because it often happens in subtle ways or behind closed doors.

If you’re questioning your relationship, it’s okay to ask.

WHAT IT COULD LOOK LIKE

Answering questions without judgement to see if what you're experiencing is abuse

Talking through communication issues, boundaries, or relationship challenges.

Working through a relationship where behaviors are escalating.

Getting help with stalking, physical violence, threats, or harassment, especially after a breakup.

Creating a plan to stay safe in various situations.

Getting you  connected with an advocate for ongoing support.

Understanding your options for legal protection.

WHAT IT'S NOT

Judging you or your situation.

Forcing you to do anything.

Sharing about your situation with your parents.

Making you feel bad or ashamed.

Wasting your time when you are ready to have action taken.

WHAT IS ADVOCACY?

Advocates act as a link between you and other systems to help you get where you need to go. All of our services are voluntary. We have no authority to tell you what to do; we are here to provide guidance and support for those who would like it.

You may have heard of social workers or case managers before. Similarly, advocates work alongside you, helping you navigate the sometimes difficult situations that come out of Domestic Violence (DV), whether that’s in your relationships, at school, or within legal systems. Advocates are trained in connecting you to services and acting as an additional support system.
